Ecuador’s just-right tropical climate has produced a superior quality of chocolate: rich, bitter, heavenly and devilish all in one mouthful. Led by our chef, guests of Casa Gangotena have the opportunity to taste a selection of chocolate from diverse regions of the country, learning about the art and science that goes into the creation of the one perfect bite.
LIMPIA ANDINA
There’s a different kind of spa treatment on offer at Casa Gangotena – a treatment for your soul. The Limpia Andina, or Andean Cleansing, is a ceremony performed by local traditional medicine expert Mama Rosita, whose family has been practicing the ritual for generations. Using local herbs and plants, Mama Rosita removes bad energy from your body, leaving you feeling content and energized.
