In 1980 the company became part of the Claro Group, and the new ownership brought a major leap forward in quality and business acumen. Major investments were made, allowing exports to be increased by the end of the 1980s. The new owners also implemented a range of technological innovations, allowing the company to craft higher-quality wines.
Since then, Viña Santa Rita has continued to work with the latest and most advanced technology to create exquisite wines for each of its product lines, bringing forth the many prizes and awards that it has earned over the years.
Hotel Casa Real
Its late 19th century classical style has been preserved, making it a historic monument and the only park of its kind in the country. Hotel Casa Real offers 16 beautiful rooms, fine dining, salons, and outstanding service, in a setting of absolute privacy and exclusivity. Alongside the hotel stands a Neo-Gothic chapel built in 1880 - like the mansion, it was designed by German architect Theodor Burchard.
Hotel Casa Real stands in the midst of a 40-hectare park, one of the largest and best-preserved in Central Chile. It was designed by the French landscape gardener Guillaume Renner as a setting for the summerhouse that was built by founder Domingo Fernández Concha.
The park’s design is rooted in its designer’s French aesthetics, but also integrates other styles that were in vogue at the time when it was created - the English and Italian styles. The latter is reflected mainly in its ornamental motifs such as statues, which include ‘The Boy Flautists’, ‘The Artful Boy’, and ‘The Four Seasons’, as well as a number of fountains and box hedge mazes, created in a pure Renaissance style. Meanwhile, the English aesthetic shines through in the long walks, avenues, and broad lawns.

Rooms
Hotel Casa Real offers 16 classic-style rooms, in two categories: Casa Real Room and Casa Real Suite. All of the elegantly decorated rooms provide a view over the park or the inner courtyard.
Suites
Elegantly furnished rooms measuring a spacious 70 m2, with modern bathrooms and independent living rooms or galleries. Some have a view over the park, others look over the inner courtyard.
CUISINE
The menu at Hotel Casa Real was specially designed to pair with Santa Rita’s wines, and to offer guests the very best dining experience. It was created by top chefs, who planned out every detail to ensure perfect harmony on the palate. The different wine-paired menu options will allow you to experience different wine valleys and grape varieties, as well as the finest seasonal ingredients, including products harvested from the grounds of the estate itself.
SALONS
The hotel’s layout preserves the mansion’s traditional spaces and uses: the entry hall, the salons, the dining room, the billiard room, and the inner colonnade, which have been kept unchanged since the late 19th century, with their original fittings. Our guests can feel at home, using the spaces as they please - enjoying a book, spending time with their companions, or just relaxing. We also offer a number of rooms designed for business meetings.

Nearby you will find our newly remodeled gym, with a 180° panoramic view over the gardens crafted by Guillaume Renner more than a century ago.
